Immersive media for language revitalization

Idioms hold deep cultural and historical messages. They often require someone intimately familiar with the language to reveal their hidden meanings, and consequently, they are the first to go when a language becomes endangered. The impetus for this project was to test how immersive media can disrupt this cycle.

Portfolio project for fulfillment of the Vancouver Film School’s VR/AR Diploma program.
